Looking for a show heifer prospect who will excel in the pasture - check out Kaisers Wild Fire, a purebred Maine-Anjou heifer. Wild Fire is the first ever female offered from our Kumquat family. Kumquat, a moderate framed, high capacity, fertile and functional female, stamps her line with these qualities   Sired by Calberta Black Impact out of a Witch Doctor cow who was a Lamont daughter. Kumquat was Supreme Female in her only show. She is a 10 year old no miss female - 9 calves from 9 straws, and in between she was flushed and provided a dozen embryos grade 1 Midas embryos. We don't hesitate to use high dollar semen on Kumquat - Midas, Gizmo, Magic because she never misses. Her bull calves are working for Jason Clough, Noel Rogers, and Jeff Paulsen.

We have kept all the Kumquat daughters and grand daughters to date. Wild Fire's dam, Sprout a Pollstar X Kumquat, is a 4 year old female who resembles her dam.  Sired by Majors Money Man this heifer is moderate, deep, correct, easy to work with and showy. Take this opportunity to add a female from the Kumquat family to your show string and cowherd.

Open heifer, OCV.THF, PHAF.
Our herd is TB Accredited, Brucellosis Certified, and Johne’s Status Level 4. AMAA #401101

Wild Fire looks good--with the fertility bred in, somebody would be smart to buy this one.  Cow families are important--the Kumquat cow is put together just right.

By the way, is Wild Fire a MSU basketball fan?

DL, post larger pictures as they are automatically shrunk.  kumquat is a very nice cow and that heifer comes out very nice forward and behind her withers.  there's no point in posting the same size pic as the thumbnail.  that is a nice heifer, and i've always been partial to kumquat.

Thanks Dale - I'm big on cow families too. I think she is both a MSU b-ball fan and a Buffalo Sabres hockey fan ;)

knabe -yeah I am partial to Kumquat too - is this picture more to your liking (yeah I know there is a tree :)
