Monopoly clones

So, I have always wondered this about clones.... when you breed your cow to a clone, do you need to bother about the phenotype at all if you are happy with the originals phenotype? Unless one has bad structure or something like that I wouldn't think it would matter. The monopoly clones are pretty similar, so would it matter which one you breed to?
