MTG for tailhead

We have a show steer that completely rubbed about 2 inches of his tailhead off to the skin. We have 3 weeks before he shows again and are desperate for the hair to grow back. Started using MTG yesterday but wondering how often we should apply it. Any suggestions are welcome!!!

I have not used it on cattle but I have used it on horses I used it once a day. It should start to help in a few days.

Get some Horse Hair mane and glue it in as needed until his hair grows back.
