Looking to cut some costs and need some advice.  My question is we feed our steers showmaster grower and power fuel from purchase (sept/oct. for a target july/august fair) to around 700-800 lbs.to get early bloom on them and switch to showmaster finisher and glucoat the rest of the way.  For those that have cooked corn, can it replace the power fuel we are using in the early stages before we switch to finisher? I know corn isn't cheap right now, but the power fuel is killing us in terms of costs.  We like what it does, but the amount we have to use the price is  just killing us.  We have to find an alternative way.  The glucoat isn't cheap either, but at least it lasts a few months instead of power fuel which is gone in weeks.  Any and all advice/opinions are welcome.

All I feed is Fitters Edge, and a little beet pulp, and that works wonderfully!

We also do the fitters edge, beet pulp, and cottonseed.  We also start oxy explosion around this time of year for July County Fair and August State Fair.  Dont think that would be much cheaper but its worth a try.

Sorry Oxy Explosion was on my mind but it is actually high octane we use but have tried some Oxy Explosion in the past dont know if it is worth the money.  Did some good just dont know how much.
