the calves are headless and they are still alive

Alpha I dont thing OH breeder was trying to be a jerk just asking questions-
Do you have any side profile pictures, or even front pictures, if they are in a sale those usually work a little better
I dont think there is much you can fix in those pictures without a better profile on them,
they look like really nice calves though
