Looking to use a purebred simmi bull this year and wanted to get some insight on which one I should use.  I only have a few commercial cows that are pretty stout.  Any help as to which bull would work for me would be great.  Right off the bat I am thinking Chopper or Star Power, but any other recommendations are greatly appreciated.

i would use chopper over star power all the SP cattle i have seen have been really hard ribbed and depending on the cow really bold shouldered

CHECK THESE bulls out more , we have one real good Chopper heifer but my conception hasn't been the greatest an was going to flush to him an one of my friends that had some experience said try another bull....used Friction and got along good ...Friction proably wasn' his pick either but worked ....some Friction semen is pretty good an some ain't ....  Muhammed calves look real good, one bull calf exceptional. Grandmaster  and Olie bull also are worth looking at and also Dream Catcher but I don't want many white faces ....

I will say this about chopper, when I saw him in denver last year I thought he was a pretty neat display heifer...then I realized he was supposed to be a bull. After searching for a lil while i did actually find evidence he was in fact a bull. Either he is really late maturing or he truly was the flattest muscled calf I have ever seen. Just my opinion. <cowboy>

In Dew Time is a great bull, he's worked on all types for me. His calves are moderate, good feet and legs, lots of depth and thick enough. Very consistent sire and he makes awesome females.

Grandmaster & Rendition are two really good Dream On out crosses. Built Right & Star Power would probably have to be my pics for Dream on sons.
