We have a steer that at the moment is 1200 lbs, and is pretty aggressive towards my daughter (keeping in mind she is the only one that makes him act this way). Anytime she steps in the pin he instantly starts shaking his head, snorting, and eventually chases her. He's drug her multiple times so he knows he can overpower her by now. She ties him up nightly and spends countless hours with him, but we still haven't been able to catch a break with him. She refuses to sell him and we're looking for a method to help break him. thoughts and opinions on putting a ring in his nose?

Had pretty much the same issue, used a nose tong for a few days, didn't take long to get the permanent ring put in, very happy with the results.

the only thing we're worried about is the chance that putting one in will just anger him even more.

She can't show him now, so there is no real risk.

I suggest she not be there when ring installed.
