Question on heifers

Can you use Ralgro on heifers?  I know it is mainly used for steers, but is there any adverse affects on using it on heifers.

Ralgro is not for breeding stock, either bulls or heifers. You can use it on heifers intended for slaughter.

Thanks leanbeef.  I wasn't sure, I new we had used it before on steers but never thought about using it on heifers.  Any suggestions on what I can use to spread out a heifers hind end and pull her legs back a little?  She is really good everywhere except her rear and back legs, she tends to keep them too far under her when she stands.

Nah...Sounds like that's how she's made. Your job is to determine whether or not she's sound enough to live with and use in a breeding program and go from there. If she is, try to choose a mating that will compliment her and hopefully correct her faults and weaknesses. Ralgro would just make her grow a little faster...you can't "fix" things that are structural. That's why structure is so important.
