I know this question has been asked many times we are planning on six cows coming in heat tomorrow they have calves on them except one i have a 9 month old bull calf with them to help us detect heat                Do I A.I them 12 to 14 hours after i first see them standing or when they stop standing                          thank you for reading any help would be great

I think it is best to AI them after they are done standing, which is usually 14-16 hours after they start. Hopefully the 9 month old calf is castrated ???

I guess that was pretty stupid putting him in there with them he is not cut I will watch them like a hawk I can put them in a corral when i see one first stand away from him
