What would be the best day to see Red Angus in Denver? Is there a pen bull show and etc.? Bull sale.....

Jr Show is Jan 11, 8 am
Pen Show is Jan 12, 11 am
Mile High Classic Sale is Sunday, Jan 12 at 4 pm
The show is the next day, Monday, Jan 13 8 am

The National Spotlight Show and sale is in Fort Worth on Feb 1.  The National Show is Feb 2.

What is the average number of the pen bull show? It's on a sunday......and I'm only 4 hours from Denver. I was always fascinated with the brain storming session that the Red Angus deal has at their meeting. Can anyone go to that deal? In the 80's the Red Angus sold bulls in the yards through a sale arena if I remeber right. I know Fort Hays State had cattle there when they had a Red Angus herd.

It is hard to say on numbers. The big difference this year is that Denver has been the "national show" for the last 5-8 years when it got rammed through the voting process. Now that the National show is on rotation again, it is hard to say how that will affect the numbers.  The last several years the pen show had about 10 pens of bulls and 10 pens of heifers.  Everything that sells goes through the ring in the yards; show animals and pen animals.


The Brain Storm session is open to red angus association members. As far as I know, there is no other requirements.

According to Red Angus mag......abs will be there with a sire and some progency. Does Pieper do the pen thing?
