simmental bull SOS dead

Last night at the Simm magic on ice sale Val reported SOS died! That was news to me. They sold 30 units of semen, one person bought it all for $110 a unit. His embryos went high also.
Bummer  :'(

Agreed! sure i've never used him but he has produced some good ones and has a reputation might be room for some profit in a few years

It was mentioned at the sale that only about 2000 units (my take meaning a rough estimate) exist.  I am not sure of the semen market, but he is a world of maternal strength and calving ease.

I used a son  from Willie Morris and he calved as easy as any Angus.
