Simmi Breeders what do you think? would you use him?

I think it's pretty funny how some of these guys find something wrong with every bull that gets pictured on here, but they never show any pictures of their own cattle. If a guy has a bull that looks the part, their EPD's are not good enough for them, and if they have perfect EPD's, the bull isn't sound or pretty enough. This bull in the video isn't perfect, but I am going to be willing to bet you guys got some at your place that aren't either. 

Umm...the question wasn't whether the bull is better than what we have at our own place, just whether we would personally use the bull in our herd. Chill.

My thoughts on this bull.  Would I use him? Probably not, I think in a lot of ways he is just kind of common so I probably would have sent him to the feed yard. But again I am trying to produce show cattle and not commercial feeder calves, I just think in this video he doesnt have that pizzaz that I look for in show cattle.  So I think he could work really well for a commercial guy.  I dont see all the structure issues that some do.  He may be a little straight in the shoulder, but he also isnt as clean fronted as some out there so that can add to them being a little coarser fronted as well.  Beyond that I think all the angles are good and he is definately a meat wagon.  I think some people would be amazed what he would look like cleaned up with some hair and a good clip job.  He definately covered his tracks and I didnt see the timidness in his stride that some did.  When he got to moving I thought he cruised across there pretty freely.  What I will say is I watched this video several times and I cant put my finger on it, but there is just something that I dont like about the way he puts that left hind foot down.  He puts it down really hard, but the stride doesnt seem really off.  I just attributed it to the fact that the ground was frozen and he is really full So he may just be a little sore on that hard ground or he may have an injury of some type.  Like I said I couldnt put my finger on exactly what it was, there was just something there I didnt like. But I think he could have some future siring feeder calves because he definately has the meat to put in one.

Jody's bull I thought was really stylish and attractive, freaky fronted, and otherwise just a good, complete, sound bull.

b)But I must say, f the price was right I wouldnt really be opposed to using him as a clean up bull in my ai operation.

For the people that want to make this bull out to be a horrible breedin prospect,  I know a hell of a lot other how bulls and stud bulls I would have sent to the feed lot than this bull. He is not the unsound as people want to make this bull out to be and he does look like he could drop some weight. In my PERSONAL opinion, he is not a bad bull, but I do agree he is more of a common bull. But lets all be serious. How many of us can breed a knockout taking over the industry bull.

I like the bull maybe too much front end leather for me and seemed like the rear pasterns werent sitting down as much as i would like but good overall bull, looks like the kind that is easy to sell
