syncing AIs and recips

Was wondering if you guys do all your recip cows and AI candidates together or at different times. The past 2 years we have synched everyone at the same time so we had 20 head due the same day! Which was Ok but if we hit bad weather or something (mid-Feb), it could be a potential disaster. It would be more work to synch them in 2 groups instead of one but maybe it would be better from a management perspective. What do you think?

We set our recips up in the first group and then we do our AI cows in the 2nd group, even though they are bred on the same day they will calve anywhere up to 3 weeks difference, early and late.

We set ours up together - easier to watch heats on the recips when they are all together for me.
