The Bull Bracket II is officially under way!

It took awhile but we are finally ready to fire up the Bull Bracket II. If you look at the top of the forum page you can find a topic with the photos and bracket break downs for this years contest. As most of you know last year was our first go around with this endeavor and in an attempt to make this years contest better we have made a few changes. First off the regional brackets are broke down by breeds and we expanded the field by four to make 72 the total amount of bulls in this year’s tournament.

Last year we had around 160 bulls nominated for the inaugural tourney and this year we topped the 600 mark of bulls nominated. To say the least it was a few more then expected but with the help of several behind the scene players we have been able to get everything counted, photo sized, organized, verified and certified for this years Tournament.

We will be doing the head to head voting match-ups again this year with the top vote getter moving on to the next round. Ties will be broken by a re-vote. Bulls are seated according to the number of nominations they received. Plus the breeds/classifications are seated accordingly to the amount of bulls each breeds/classifications received. “I expect to receive some heat for this one when the masses realize the Clubby Champ and Simmy Champ must face each other for the right to go to the final four.”

This Years #1 Seated Bulls
Angus - #1 EXT
A.O.B. – does not have one
Maine - #1 Cunia
Charolias - #1 Wyoming Wind
Clubby - #1 Heat Wave
Simmy - #1 Meyer 734
Shorthorn - #1 Sonny
Hereford - #1 Moler

This years champion of the bull bracket will again receive bragging rights in The Yards at Denver.

Thanks to all that have helped
Nasc!

THANKS! This is really cool and I know we all appreciate all the time you donate to the Bull Bracket.  It is one of the coolest things that any cattle site has.

Good point, however we didn’t use any of last years data when deciding this years field.
Maybe something needing to be considered for the BBIII.

I'm not seeing any tally at the top of the voting, am I missing it?

need to get to each individual thread, but you also need to be logged in or it does give you the option to vote, nor does it give you the current results

I am logged in and it let me vote, I just don't show any result as to totals for each bull.

Results will show after voting is over on the 25th.
We’re trying it this way to see if it will cut down on the ties.
