I'm up here in N.E. Iowa by Waterville. I know of alot of people who would be willing to let a cow go. What are you willing to spend and got a color or breed you are looking for?
As far as cost -- I guess it depends on what type of pair it is. Cross bred is fine. We are looking for a showy animal, not necessarily state fair material, but something that is going to do well at a county fair. It is for a new showperson.
Got some PB Angus cows with angus heifers @ side. Going to be really good cows. Not state fair showy, but would be ok at county level. I'll check with a few guys and see what they got. None of my cows would be halter broke.
I have a purebred Red Angus cow for sale and a heifer (a yearling) The cow's calf is already sold but could make a deal on the these two. the cow is shown, halter broke and went champion many times and was 3rd at Nationals as a calf. Heifer has not been shown yet . We are located in Maryland so we would be a bit far but worth the trip for these two.
