cut them off, and freeze with liquid nitrogen...

Pretty standard procedure, even heard of doctors doing the same with a frozen 16 penny nail on humans to burn off small warts..

You can also cut them off and feed them back. By feeding them back they build an immunity to that strain of wart.

I have heard of this, but never tried it.. would this be a short term, or long term effect?

personally, I would think this to be a long term solution.  to me, if you cut the warts off now, there's a good chance they'll grow back within the next 2 months, but would have some resistance to the next time cutting them off.  Maybe I'm wrong?

I would think that scenario, would be more geared towards heifers or calves you are wanting to keep back in the herd-- maybe not a show steer headed to the fair in 40 days and then to the locker plant.

works the same as any vaccine.. give the animal a dose of the problem, in such as small ammount that they are not effected but have residual side effects..

Pull them off and feed the warts back to the cows. Rub bacon grease on the area the warts were once a day for a couple of weeks and they will not grow back, don't know if the feeding them the warts in the long term on not but know putting bacon grease on the areas that had warts keeps the area moist and the warts don't grow back. Do a search on warts on this site and you will see lots of people have used bacon grease on wart prevention.
