WTB 4H calf in MI for next year

My son is looking for next year's 4H calf.  This is HIS project and HIS budget   Very modest budget but a good showman and hard worker.  Calf must be located in the SW MI area - we have no way to trailer ourselves.
  We are also looking for a calf for my daughter to raise.  She is only 8 so not 4H age yet but we would like to get her started on a quiet, easy feeder to give her some experience.  Thanks.

You should look up a few of these local sales.  I'm sure that most of these guys will help you get the steer home.  Try giving Derek Hesbrook or Adam Ryder a call about the Future in Progress Sale near Ithaca.  Or Adm Wood or Gary Campbell about their 5-Star Sale in St. Johns.  Both sales are moderately priced for the most part.  Some pretty decent kinda calves to pick through and some really GREAT people to work with.  You can PM for details if you like. 
Had a friend that bought one for one of his daughters from Dereks that didn't even make his sale and ended up winning her class at the local 4-H fair this past summer.  And the 5-Star sale always has some competative steers for good prices.

We have 2 damn good i80 x milkman steers located here in SE WI. We could trail or them to you.both grow hair extremely easy and are both broke to lead. Both have the disposition of a puppy dog.
