That's one good heifer you got there. I haven't seen anything like her here in the States.
SD--you haven't looked hard enough!!!  Might want to check out the Herfs "on the Hill" in Denver next year, as well as several other places...      By the way--very  nice heifer IRCC!

Ya there are definitely herfs here in the states that can compare with her. Check out the cattle at the national shows. And IRCC that is one heck of a herf you got there, if her dam can make calves like that, I'd be keepin that girl around and definitely flushing her the same way. Good luck and nice calf!!!

And you too Diamond check out some the herfs her in the states!!! LOL!!!!

Whoa there gentlemen. I didn't say there weren't Herefords like her in the states. But you're right I'm not looking hard enough since Herefords aren't my thing. Sorry for not qualifying my comment.

Then again, I can't recall anyone posting a picture of any of those beautiful Yankee Hereford heifers on the Planet either. But I could have missed it.

But thanks to Indian River Cattle for the posting. :)

Sorry bout that SD, I came off kinda explosive there. But there are lots of good ones in the states and Canada, both could compare equally with one not being better than the other.

hey chris then help me find one

Driver I know of three breeders down indianapolis way, that have calves of this quality, some a little better, but also pricier. I can get you contact info if you want it, all breeders will have bulls, heifers and steers. One sale is in November and the other in late October. The third sale is I think in the 2nd week, of sept, i'm not sure i will check for you though.

Those darn avatars are so small and couple with my diminishing eyesight I can't tell if that is a Hereford or a Corgi.  ;) ;)

Oh!! Now thats mean!! LOL!!! Kidding. I will try and get a bigger pic for you, see what u think!! Ok so your probaly going to still go with the canadian heifer though, but mine was a little cheaper than the projected price on this one, but that heifer there would definitely be worth the extra money. I think she could compete at some serious shows too, I would like to know where she ends up going.

Edit: I added the bottom pic of her at the state fair, neither pic is really that great, but they were both quick shots, as she wasnt behaving at beef expo.

It's always good to have a show heifer that is able to get stuck with a calf and still do the circuit. And she will make you a great cow.

Are you hoping for a bull or heifer calf?

Personally I'm hoping for a bull Calf!!! But either way I think her calf could really excel. It was pretty cool we got her to stick AI the first time, no shots, just a natural standing heat. She is bred to Purple Tonic. I think if she calves and has a bull calf somebody could make a heck of a calving ease herd bull out of him if he turns out phenotypically. We'll see though!!!! As soon as she calves I'll have some pictures for everyone.

No HF I misspoke. It is the dam of Global.  I have corrected the post. The strong program is WLB Polled Herefords. But also looking at the sale catalog for Elmlodge they have a good program too.

The most profitable cow I ever owned came from WLB--not the winningest, but certainly the biggest revenue generator.
