Cattle For Sale / Re: eye candy x wazn't me steer for sale

The wazn't me females are nice.  They are very fancy and good fronted.  Our experience is they milk OK but not great.  We tried to use him on good angus cows and we had alot of luck with that.  Not as much luck with him on crossbred cows.  We currently have about 10 WM females and they are not for sale.  You might want to try eye candy on them.  Something seems to click there. Thanks for the compliments on the steer.  He will make someone a very good project.

He weighs about 625 lbs.  He should work great for a mid to late summer show.  He is as smooth as you can make one and gentle as a kitten.  I clipped him by myself and he stood like a statue for well over an hour.  It's hard to let ones like this go.  Here is a rear view.

Here's another picture.  Thanks to all who have shown an interest.  This calf is really good and priced to sell.  Feel free to call me or text me.  I will get back to you as soon as I can. Dave.

Cattle For Sale / eye candy x wazn't me steer for sale

This is a march eye candy steer for sale that is located in NW Ohio.  He is kid broke and stands like a statue for clippers.  He loves to be messed with and will make someone a great project.  He is stout, sound and fuzzy.  He has a very soft look and is as smooth as you can make one.  This steer will compete at any level.  He will run with the big dogs! The pictures are good but he is even better in person.  You will not be disappointed.   Call me and let's talk. (419) 307-3978.

The Big Show / How's harvest going?
« on: October 31, 2011, 08:23:41 PM »
Things are getting pretty serious here in NW Ohio.  It is an absolute mud fest!  The area seems to be slowly transforming back into "The Great Black Swamp"!  I would venture to guess that less than 10% of the acres have been harvested and little to no wheat has been planted.  It just won't stop raining!  It could be worse I guess; atleast it isn't snowing. ::)
