David wrote this nearly 3000 years ago, and an ole' Cowboy translated like this.

I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of His glories and grace. I will boast of all His kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together, and exalt His name.
For I cried to Him and He answered me! He freed me from all my fears. Others too were radiant at what He did for them. Theirs was no downcast look of rejection! This poor man cried to the Lord-and the Lord heard him and saved him out of his troubles. For the Angel of the Lord guards and rescues all who reverence Him.
Oh, put God to the test and see how kind He is! See for yourself the way His mercy showers down on all who trust Him. If you belong to the Lord, reverence Him; for everyone who does this has everything he needs. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those of us who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing.
Sons and daughters, come and listen and let me teach you the importance of trusting and fearing the Lord. Do you want a long, good life? Then watch your tongue! Keep your lips from lying. Turn from all known sin and spend your time in doing good. Try to live in peace with everyone; work hard at it.
For the eyes of the Lord are intently watching all who live good lives, and He gives attention when they cry to Him. But the Lord has made up His mind to wipe out even the memory of evil men from the earth. Yes, the Lord hears the good man when he calls to Him for help, and saves him out of his troubles.
Th Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking; He rescues those who are humbly sorry for their sins. The good man does not escape all troubles- he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one. God even protects him from accidents.
Calamity will surely overtake the wicked; heavy penalties are meted out to those who hate the good. But as for those who serve the Lord, He will redeem them; everyone who takes refuge in Him will be freely pardoned.

Here's my story, believe it or not.

The only lottery ticket I ever bought was a $1.00 scratch some 20 odd years ago the first day Kansas opened up gambling. A buddie of mine and I were gonna grab a cup of coffee one morning, back when it was 50 cents a cup. Between us we had just enough change for a couple cups. He talked me into chippin in on a ticket. It was a $2.00 winner. He took his dollar and bought a losing ticket, I bought our coffee with my dollar, figured that'd be a good time to quit gamblin!

If I won a 90 million lottery, I'd give it all away. I have enough stress figuring out how too hang on to a 1000 bucks let alone 45 million.

One of my favorite passtimes is standing in line at the counter at Cenex waiting to pay for $300 worth of diesel, while somebody who never worked a day scratches the goo off a dozen lottery tickets.

Present, but not sure fully accounted for (thumbsup).

Last I knew Chuck (ITK) had moved on, out of the cattle business. Since he was only 30 minutes away I should know more. Maybe I can ask around and find out.

I'm with Justin time. 4 and 2 will be culled before they're 5. 1 is hands down the best heifer, but she'll never win a class.

I would like to hear any freeze damage reports on soybeans. Here in Kansas we're looking at a bumper crop and any info could help in marketing strategy. Seems we producers are always two steps behind the day traders.

According to the PTB's (powers that be), it's impossible to achieve "best bull" status with Bramer or Shortie genetics. No matter how many facts you place in front of their noses. Never underestimate the power of ignorance in masses ;). Heaven help the Santy and Beefmaster breeders!

By-the-way your bull IS a good-lookin" cuss!

Pollman's is the place to see lots, and lots of Wymore calves. Many Daughters several years into production there. They are right along US 77 south of Beatrice NE.

Here, we're using an Influence 81 x Bossie Bessie son named Tonka. And an Improver 3rd son nicknamed Kansas, both bulls are the real-deal!! Planing on bringing Wymore back on their daughters.
