The Big Show / Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS
« on: August 22, 2014, 12:48:12 PM »
Who has done it?   My wife was nominated last night so planning on filming it tonight.
Though it might not be ice cold water, not sure how she would do being 8 months pregnant, already had our 1st child a month earlier, don't need a second one that quick.

What a great idea to build awareness, I think I read that donations were up 5x compared to last year.

Diamond P Ranch's Blog had a great video on it

Looking good.  What type of countertop, granite?  It looks like one of those designs when we were pricing new countertops that guy said we didn't want to know the price.   (lol)   Ended up going with a very common type of granite color.

Photoshop cs6, not a huge different from cs5, except that if your bring in an animated gif it would pull out the frames into layers.

I left December 1st 2013 and i just got to Camp Lejeune (and back to internet access) about 2 weeks ago. Main reason the donkey hasn't shown his face much in the past year or so haha.

You going to make a career out of it?

Congrats on joining the services.  I was perusing facebook the other day and saw that you had joined and it looks like finished boot camp.  When did you join?

I am sorry to hear that, condolences to friends and family.  I didn't know him personally, but certainly knew he was very well respected in this industry.

The Big Show / Re: Thank You SteerPlanet Auctions
« on: April 28, 2014, 10:18:04 AM »
Thanks Zane, appreciate hosting your sale again.

Lots of auction choices out there, most the same in regards to taking a % of the of the auction total.  As Zane mentioned, our service is a flat fee of $25 per lot, only if that lot sells.   The numbers don't lie, savings could be anywhere from 75% to 90% depending on the gross of the sale.  You are in full control of your auction and Steer Planet backs your auction with free advertising.  In many cases the value of the advertising can exceed the cost to host your auction.

Any questions - pm, email, text, or call.

I would stick with a royal blue and possibly a few shades of grey.  I like to keep design fairly simple though.

Here is a neat tool that will allow you to choose a primary color and will build complementary colors off that selection.
