A Step Up

I heard announced at the Incredible Female Sale that they were selling A Step Up at Denver. Has he sold yet or does anyone know anything about it?

I just hope that a person buys him and distributes the semen through a company and not through shares.

Did you see Lock N Load is now for sale at Genex? Right now, $75 a straw. They did the same thing with Upgrade, he was high priced ($100 if I remember correctly), and Genex bought him and made him affordable.

We got our new Genex catalog in the mail over the weekend. He is on page 57, top right hand corner, at $75 a straw.

Here he is on the web site:

To answer the first question, A step up sold for $50,000.  Anyone know the owners plans?

I bought the bull and he will be listed with cattle visions, conventional and sexed semen. Bought a couple bred to him at incredible female sale, look great with cool head markings. Have done a lot of research and for no more semen than was out there a lot of nice calves bringing big money. I think he will be awesome for making halfbloods and a total outcross for purebred breeders. Time will tell I suppose.

I just bought a bred heifer out of him from Kris Black's sale.  Any idea on what his daughters work well with (either purebred or anything else)?
