This is our first ET calf out of our first flush, Ace of Diamonds x Martindale Alexis cow. She is a mid march, the photo is recent. We are debating selling her as a show heifer or putting her back in the herd. Any thoughts on her?

Beautiful color, nice phenotype and balance. She definitely looks show worthy so I can only give you a perspective as to how to look at things. I guess I would look at some of her performance traits and choose from those just how valuable she could be to you if you kept her. Look at things like her birthweight, did she calve unassisted, and how did she grow with or without creep feed. Was she sickly? I'm always open with my show cattle customers as to the history behind a calf but if it was me I would keep her if she performed well and sell her as a show heifer if she didn't. That's sort of how I would approach it.
She looks like she could fetch a pretty decent amount of money...

Put her in the herd-and breed her to Sull Payday-I think that would make a nice-bodied down thick calf-and it would cut the BW epds in half or more first go-Look at Brent Elams Martindale Enticer-Thier cattle really work with a shot of Maine O0
