Last year I bought this blue roan out of the feeder calves over at my neighbor's commercial operation.  Her weaning weight was too low for them to retain her for breeding.
She is certainly a round cow, and has a decent disposition.  The only thing I really don't like is her tail set, and that seems to be a common things over in their commercial Angus cows.  She has a nice udder and is very maternal.
Here is her little bull calf out of my bull Amos. (so he is 3/4 Shorthorn) He seems like a nice calf.  Maybe a little leggy?
The 4496 calf is more what I am used to seeing in a Shorthorn/Angus cross.  They are paternal half brothers.
