Another great cattleman passes
« on: December 22, 2010, 04:47:45 PM »
I have just heard that Louis Latimer, founder of Remitall Cattle Company, Olds, AB has passed away today. He was a master breeder and cattleman and had world renown herds of Shorthorns, Polled Hereford, Angus and Gelbvieh over the many years of his life. He will be greatly missed and I would like to express my condolences to the Latimer families. Louis Latimer, was a man that taught me many lessons about breeding cattle, as he did with many others as well. He truly had a life well lived! He was a true legend in his own lifetime.

My condolences to the Latimer Family. Louis was great cattleman and many members of his family are still contributing to the cattle industry.

May I add my condolences to the Latimer family.  He not only raised good cattle, but he represented them with integrity.  We felt we lost something when they dispersed and know we lost something in his passing.
