I did not see them all but I did see the grand and res. The res was super nice. There was alot of talk of that one winning. The grand was not bad jus didnt have the completence of the res.

I think that all of the results for the weekend should be up on the HBC website by now.  Last time I checked, the pics of the top five weren't up there yet, but they should be pretty quickly.  The rest of the results were there a little bit ago.

The Angus is a Hot Rod heifer bred/owned heifer of Caleb Smith, MCM Farms, Whitestown.

Appeared to me that the Judge was very critical of feet and pastern flex, and in some situations went with less complete animals and used animals with more flex and free moving on the walk

Did not attend, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but that chi looks awfully shallow to beat some of the others, based off their pictures. Sure like the Hereford for a Hereford, typical jammed up neck, but really nice otherwise.( again based off picture) sim looked OK, how was the overal quality???
But honestly it looked like that Chamberlin girl had the best one by quite a bit. What was that black and white one she was showing? What breed did she show as? Why didnt she get a peice of it? Sure liked both of those real well!!

Chamberlin's black and white heifer was a maintainer.  Overall quality in the grand drive was awesome. The chi looked better in person than the picture, and the hereford was a truly impressive beast- huge middled, massive and sound (i really thought she would grab 3rd pretty handily). There were several really good ones that got left standing in the grand drive. Patton's shorthorn and shorty plus looked really good and Martin's maine was really nice as well. But as always with that many good ones in the ring at one time, somebody's gonna get left out. I thought Buck and Rayfield did a good job sorting the heifers both days, staying pretty consistent with the type they wanted.

You really have to see the chi in person, she is definitely not shallow. I think anyone who saw her at Goretska's, at Lima, OH last week, or HBC would agree. Shes a good rip.

You have to see those calves in person. The top heifers were flat good. I watched the grand heifer overall show in the commercial class and saw her up close and personal. She was awesome. The pictures do these calves no justice. Quality was deep this past weekend in Indy, steers and heifers.
