Any steer sales?

I've found a few but looking for more club steer sales in Pa, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, W. Virginia...

Almost everyone is going to the internet auction format.  Look at breedersworldonlinesales.com and cwcattlesales.com they have several high quality internet sales at farms in Ohio.

If your looking for spring sales in ohio check out www.springflingsale.com. this years calf from one consignior has been grand or reserve at  every major show in ohio this year

Talbert Farms in northern Ohio has around 70 head this Saturday night. He rented Heat Wave #13 last year to run with the cows. Should have some good ones.

Thanks guys, but we are not goin the on-line route just yet.  Just lookin for some smaller sales to get a pretty decent calf at a decent price. Found one this weekend in Frederick Md. the Jeff Miller real deal sale... might be able to get one.

Marky Butler is having a sale that is going on now. Located in Jefferson, MD Has about 20 calves there. Available for viewing now and can place bids up until 2pm on Sat. Oct 1st. his number is 204-285-0476. They've got some really nice calves in it this year. The champion at the ABC jackpot came out of the sale last year.

I know you said you weren't interested in online sales, but it would haunt me if I didnt share.  We, Duarte Show Cattle, are having a sale on www.breedersworld.com, on October 14-1 5and are guaranteeing shipping for $350 or less anywhere, coast to coast. 

Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) club calf sale next saturday, Oct. 8, at Harrisburg, PA. &  Penn State Block & Bridle Club Calf Sale mid Oct.  State College, PA are two that are coming up soon.  Sunrise Club Calves and Wise Club Calves in Northwest PA are already over for this year, but you may want to check them out next September.

It is too later this year, but next year try the Virginia Club Calf producers sale the last weekend of September at Harrisonburg, VA.  This is a good set of calves at a reasonable price.  Buying a calf from the sale will also get you in the running for prize money up to $1000 at the VCCP Winter Classic in January and will make you eligible for a new scholarship program.  Check out the website for information.  Virginiaclubcalfproducers.com
