Talked to Lance Ellsworth from Cattle Visions who recommended Apollo last spring for me to use as a genetically clean choice; he says that the reports that are coming into him this
calving season are very positive.  He said there are guys in NW Iowa who have yearling Apollo heifers in the yard and are very very positive about him.  Here, we have 6 Apollo calves
5 I Am Legend calves on the ground so far for the new bulls.....right now the Apollo calves look by far the best but time will tell; Apollo was used on carrier cows, I Am Legend was used
on clean cows; have an I Am Legend out of a Who cow that SHOULD be good but so far needs some time to see how she develops.
Apollo will for sure be the bull of choice for genetically clean A.I. here the next breeding season.

Apollo is a little different than anything Ive used, he is not going to just wow you when you see him, but he does alot of things right. What I am most impessed with is his ability to breed across the board, on a wide range of cows. He didn't 'not work' on anything. VERY gentle bull and very fertile, when the weather gets better I'll take some mature photo's of him. You'll like him.  Thanks to Lance and B H for letting some of us NW IA guys use him the last two years. Oh ya his mom is a good rip and I think that is very important.
