Beefmaster Genetics?
« on: April 25, 2018, 07:42:08 AM »
We have a purebred beefmaster calf we got from a breeder back in November and he has an indent in the center of his spine. Is this natural for beefmaster? What is it? Weve never had beefmaster a before so if you could tell us if its genetic that would really help us out! Thank you!

All cattle have the indent that you are talking about. It will be more noticeable in the shorter haired breeds. It is known as the tie.
