BISS ELEMENT 79 370Z National Champion Shorthorn at Denver
« on: January 19, 2014, 09:45:31 PM »
(thumbsup) Congratulations to Jordan Buba on breeding raising and showing the National Champion Shorthorn bull at Denver. She also exhibited him to Grand Champion at the Canadian National Show and Agribition. Wish I could have watched the show!

I love seeing the Canadian cattle standing up against the competition in Denver. I saw him at Agribition.  He's impressive, for a shorthorn haha!

I thought Element was an easy Champion. Jordie and crew had him looking great. Congrats to them for a great job!

The top end of the bulls was very strong. There were some variations in type, but each one was very useful. I was very pleased to see some variation in genetics as well in the Champions, as that is also good for the breed.

It was well deserved! Certainly an impressive bull! So happy for that crew, they worked very hard for that banner. :)

I saw him in the stall across from the folks my friend was helping. He was big middled and wide topped. I thought he could be better fronted especially on the move and have more rear muscle. All in all though he was a good bull.

I thought he looked pretty good- more than enough muscle for a maternal breed. If he will settle down where he is frame wise,  he will be a very useful bull.

I thought he looked pretty good from the pictures. I guess my biggest concern would be that all the pics I have seen of him in the ring, he seems to toe out in the front end.

Well done to all parties involved (especially the Aussie partners!). He's certainly an eye catcher and from what I hear, a pretty mobile individual with that all-important "sire appeal".
I'd love to see this bull slicked/wet, anyone got any pics without the hair?

I think what you see is what you get with this guy.  He does not have a lot of extra fluff.  Coming from the outfit he does, you can bet they know how to raise bulls!

I don't have any pictures, but he doesn't have as much hair as it looks like.  I've seen this bull in the washrack, and he is the exact same bull soaked down as he is haired up.  A huge congratulations to the crew and of course Jordan!

Here is a class winner from Moore's by HC Timeline, he looks like a powerfull bull as well! Canadian bred, American owned. The reserve Champion was American bred (with American and Canadian owners)by a Canadian bull, Saskvalley Primo 40P (thumbsup) We have more up here than ice and snow(no really we do (lol) )
