Might have attitude. they have always did well in the show ring such as the judge liking them. My last two have had attitude problems and they would try to get away and this years heifer tried to kick alot, might have been the mother don't know. Good luck with your heifer

i doubt she will have and attitude. sunseekers are big pets, hairy.

Zach. Sounds like someone has had some experience w Sunseekers and attitude. Maybe you haven't,but there are others out there with more experience than even you and your 4000 plus posts.  Its those argumentative comments like that that have given you the reputation that you have earned on this board.

Our experience with sunseekers has been great, i have been around several who were all big babies, especially our steer from this past year, who was so laid back that you practically had to push him into the show ring, good luck with your new heifer

Our Sunseeker calf this year is very gentle. Was broke to tie in 10 minutes and was leading second time out. Good luck with your calf!

We have two Sunseeker heifers this year and they both are like big puppy dogs. So far we have not had any structure issues or any other issues with them. good luck with your new heifer.

fact 1. that was not an argumentative comment
fact 2 Ive dealt with 6 sun seeker calves in 2 years and they were all big big babies. ive got some experience with them. they are hairy, stout and big boned. they might have some structural issues but very few do.

Well I am new at this but it looks like you are the one that is off Doublestuff. I have seen you trying to pick on zach in another thread what seems to be your problem? Jealousy (just a thought) I don't know. Zach just simply stated his opinion and it was not derogatory in any way, shape, or form.

i can't vouch for zach, but the numbers of posts and experience are inversely proportional for me.

Havn't delt wth a lot of them(10) and I have been kicked by at least 5 of them. My sister showed a market steer last year out of Sun Seeker x foreplay cow and that thing was a peice of work from the day I bought it at 5 months old till she sold it at fair.

We have raised 15 or more sunseekers and not one of them has had an attitude or structure issues. Some might get kind of coarse up front but they all have had no issues moving. Out of all the calves we have dealt with sunseekers have all been the best I have ever had to break. And I have not been kicked by one. But they have all came from my own cows that don't have any attitude problems. So I would lean more towards the cow side for attitude issues if there are some. All of our calves have been great to clip and lead after one or 2 times washing and clipping.

i've been around more calm ones than ornery ones. there will always be some goofy ones out of bulls but i can only think of a few that had some fire and seem to remember most being relatively quiet.
