When I think of baldies, my first thoughts are always Steel Force, Built Right and Dream Catcher.

In our experience, Steel Force and Built Right breed very similar.  Built Right will make them as soft as any Simmy bull out there.  Steel Force might just add a touch more marketability.

Dream Catcher works good on the right cow, but he will not consistently throw the guts that the other 2 will on the more marginal cows.

Broker is a newer bull that we are hearing lots of good things about.

CAB... Look up Mr HOC  Broker.
Where do we find info on the Broker bull please? Thanks.

Thanks Leanbeef. Looks like another bull that is out of my league. $125.00/unit/ supposedly SOLD OUT. I'll just have to keep looking.

What does everyone thing of Grindstone? (http://www.cattlevisions.com/Simmental/grindstonex171.php)
He won MO State fair this year.

Other bulls I was thinking of was Chopper. He seems to be getting some use lately. Also, I heard that Final Cut breeds much better than Fat Butt (full brothers). Make it Rain is another one that is making waves, several good calves out there. We have a Make It Rain due the first part of October. Also, we have a Monteceto calf due this fall (November, I think). I'll put some pics up when it gets here.

Of course, we always like our Built Rights! Our embryo calf just born is a Built Right. Our best cow is a Built Right, and we have two of her daughters in production. But, he does throw red if you are against that!!!

I would be thrilled to get a red white face out of Bulit Right!  The market in this area favors black cattle but I have a soft spot for good red cows.

Recently saw a new blaze-faced PB Simmy named Transition.  He is an April yearling so no calves yet.  Cattle Visions carries him.
Growth, thickness and correctness is how I would describe him.

The brockle faced steer calf in my avatar was a Built Right out of an 878 x Double Stuff cow. That's his mama beside him... She had three Built Rights, and they were all marked & colored COMPLETELY different...that calf, one black baldy with white legs & a little white down his back, and a solid red heifer. She did have another steer becore this one that was marked almost identically, if you believe you could make two of those! The 1st one was by Macho.

I found him on the ASA website, but not on Cattle Visions, so I didn't get to see a picture of him.

How about Trifecta?  I know this bull has been talked about before and maybe since he is just 1/4 Simme might not be for everyone, but this bull doesn't have any Clubby Genetics but he looks like he does.  The other  pic is of a heifer calf selling soon out of him,  this shows what this bull can do when he is used on cows with some breeding.

I kinda like the looks of that bull. I wish they would call him by his name or change it for real so you could find him tho. I always takes me forever!
