bull lease?

Traushs maine bulls are all leased out for the year. (already checked) if you go thru a big time breeder, expect to pay a lot. There are a lot of good bulls by small breeders that are willing to lease at a reasonable price. knock on a few doors.

No more than some of these good Maine bulls are bringing on sales this spring, why not try to buy one and have him available for 60 days instead of 30 & still have the bull to keep or sell  when you are done with him. I'd call Dennis Garwood @ GCV or Nagel's and see what they have held over & price a couple. JMO.

Trausch has harlem shakes summer lease om their breeders world sale. If your willing to pay you could go that route

your talking $1500-$2500 from lautners and trausch on bulls that arent huge (hw clones) plus vet costs for a 30 day type lease

What about Harwoods?  He has an ad in the cattlemans magazine, I would bet he has something for you.

You'll get a 60 day lease for this.

so I see some $ amounts on here and is that what you can expect?

So if you have a proven bull what can you expect to be paid, by # of cows, by how long he is there, if the resulting calf is registerable, etc..

Also what about the health of the cows, shots up to date.
