Its hard to win with a pair just because judges must put more weight on the cow than the calf. but it is possible i have done it too.

she won her class, judge had nothing bad to say except she needed to gain weight

Our daughter showed a cow/calf pair last year that was Supreme heifer at county level, Breed Champion at Houston, Kerrville (American Division Champion too), and Austin.  It can be done.

Seen this calf and man was he a good one. I know I sure would like to have him. He's legit. and they sure had a pair of showman on the end of those sticks, you could tell someone had worked long and hard with a month old calf for him to set up almost perfect. I asked around and someone said he was a late december calf. If anyone knows how to get ahold of the owner or who the owner is, i'd like to know. cuz man im telling yall thats a pretty bad a** calf no lie prolly the best month old calf i have ever seen.

I LOVE THIS CALF. anyone know if they plan to steer him or show him as a bull or who owns him? I would love to get an up close look. Hope they know they got a good one on their hands.
