Check out RCC Cold Front.  You can see him at www.redalencattleco.com or Cattle Visions.  Calves are super cool patterned with great hair and sweat dispositions.  I f you want some pics of some smokey calves, email me at [email protected].        <party>

I'm new to the Charolais breed and I  don't know the bloodlines of your cow, but I have been very impressed with TR Red Smoke or his father TR SmokeontheWater.    There's also a full sib called TR Mr Fire Water.  These all go back to Thomas Oahe Wind and the Swissersweet cow.

I took some advice and bred Alias to a Reg. Angus cow and got the best steer prospect I've ever raised. The advice was to use him on non-clubby cows. I've heard that he would throw a cripple on clubby cows. Our calf is sound and will definitely compete in the Charolais deal for sure. I know he's not purebred but he will throw those nice smokes that are so popular.

I have had two ppl who saw him in person tell me that the Lead On son that just brought $30 some thousand in Kris Black's sale was the real deal. Anyone know who got him and if semen will be available?

Just had two calves out of TR Red Smoke.  One white w/ a pink nose and one red with a black nose.  (Black Nose not cool in the Reg Bus)

The bull is being marketed under the name Troubador.  Call SEK for semen.  He has a flyer out via e-mail on the bull.  One good looking dude.

I'm breeding some this year to a purebred bull Kris sold last year called George.

Can calves out of unregistered cows and a 3/4 Char bull be registered with the Char association?

I really like the Denver bull. Sad to say, haven't seen any calves, but I might just give him a shot on that Blue cow I had posted on here.

First I have a question for Chambero oon how did he fine the George bull on Collins site , they had Troubador an a hereford bull -----To register in the Charolais deal is complicated an you can't reegister a  bull unless he is out of registered Charolais bull an cow. You can register females if one of the parent's are purebred Charolais an also steer's to show.

Dave Allen has bull called Mojito. I saw him in person and I really liked him. Moderate framed, super stout, good lines, sound moving, and real stylish. you can see a video of him at www.baracattle.com

I didn't even realize they had any of the bulls up on Collins website yet till someone else noted it.  George isn't there, at least not directly.  He was Kris's high selling bull from a year ago.  He's a purebred out of HooDoo Prince.  1/2 interest sold for $32,500 last year.

You actually can find a picture of George at the following address:  http://www.collinscattleservices.com/Kris_Black/COC_08_Book/KB_COC_08_Book.html.  He's on the last page of the sale catalog.

I've never seen a calf out of him, but Kris told me they were real happy with ones hitting the ground this fall (his first crop).  I'm using him on some black females we've got that are sired by "steer" bulls.
