Wow..I'm shocked most predictions only have the score around the 20's... I think at least one team will be in the 30's on the score... Alabama stands a good chance yes, however if Texas does their homework they will 1) Does as Auburn and keep one man designated to Ingram with the instructions to not let him do anything...hey...it worked... 2) Take apart the Alabama defense quickly... and then run the clock with high times of possession. Get them confused and then wear them down. I think Texas has by far the better offense and if they can get the ball, and keep it for as much time as possible before scoring they can easily beat Alabama. But the main key is getting past the Alabama D. Yes, their offense is good but I think Texas' is better.

Texas in a close one. I still dont think that Ingram is a "Heisman" worthy player. JMO

Second thought i will change my prediction. Bama will win, but it will be a shoot out. McCoy will get on track and score often. Now I know everyone is tired of the nebraska defense horn, but. There is a hidden stat here. Nebraska's defense was 4 plays and back on the field most of the time. Nebraska offense sucked bad. Give them a10 play rest that bama and texas defense got. Then lets look at stats. Point is bama defense don't measure to nebraska. Texas will score, Igram scrores more though.
Bama D shut down a FL offense that hung (51) in Cincy. Bama 28 Texas 17 If Bama had Colt McCoy it would be ugly. Many of the Heisman Finalists were deserving in their own right but what Ingram did against FL is what got him the trophy.

Texas D holds bama to 2 TDs, and is able to put up the winning Field Goal with only 1 tic left on the clock!

Having said that, you gotta root for your conference... i know this is weird coming from me cuz ND isn't in a conference but.... you gotta root for the big 12... Just like michigan fans are stupid for rooting against OSU in all the BCS games.... with the jacked up system of college football and the bcs junk, your conference doing well helps you when you have a good team.... besides that, its time someone mans up and beats the sec in the national title game.... i respect the hell out of those southern boys but someone needs knock them off.... why not texas.... i'm calling a good game.... and remember this... It wasn't too long ago texas was undefeated and an underdog and took down a team on a 34 game winning streak.... now i know there is no VY this time, but bama aint USC 05 either.... Just my thoughts...
