Not wanting to steal his thunder, but just got a text from Shortdawg. His son had the Champion Shorthorn steer & then was named Reserve Overall at the Georgia state show. I know they have put a lot of time into it & I'm super glad for them. Couldn't have happened to any nicer people!!!!! (clapping) <party>

Thanks to everyone.- couldn't have been prouder of both my boys' effort. They really presented their catte well. We've been here since Wed. And ashowed 6 head and those 4am alarms are catching up to us now. Besides the steer we had another class winner, a 2nd, a 3rd, and two 5ths. Overall a great show but we're drained physically and emotionally - those final drives can take years off your life. Thanks again to all ! ! ! ! ! !
