You mean corn fines? lol thats what I call them. We use to feed them if they were good ones. Some of them were about as good as cracked corn. Great for cows, just to keep things moving digestively. Not much nutritional value to them, but they feed out well enough.

We feed  corn screenings, DDG's to cows, or feedlot calves, a ittle too variable to keep the club calves gaining on it for me...

We create our own, but there are a lot this year at coops.  Usually the weight will give you an idea of feed value.  Too many bees wings (pink chaff) will make it light, then you need to feed more volume.

Also watch the mold this year as the cobs and broken kernals are often those with the highest mold.

If they are decent there is alot of feed value in screenings, have them checked but an average of 85% the value of corn is pretty normal.

Good idea on the mold, we have had everything checked this year and no problems.

Googlin some research have found they can be same energy as corn and 11 protein.  I would guess they could vary a great deal even within a few tons.

We've fed them with corn gluten for years to the cows.  We gauge the amount fed based off of the quality of hay we're feeding.

We have fed it some to cows, Look for the amount of these fines to go up and easy to find as you are seeing more and more farmers going to there own drying systems (continuos) flow dryers. They are very messy! and alot of the farmers are looking at systems to collect the fines into bulk bins but then have nothing to do with them because they dont feed cattle. We mixed some with a rebound complete feed from Kent and found we could feed alot less of the expensive rebound just enough to give them some protein and the rest was fines used as a filler, be careful feeding to much!

This time of year we feed about a semi load a week, we feed about 15% more screenings than we would feed of corn
