I think I have a pretty good cow and calf I would like t show as a pair but I can't seem to find very much information about getting them ready. Do I wean the calf, how do I keep her udder looking good, all that stuff showing steers didn't teach me. Any help out there?

The calf needs to stay on the cow to keep her milking. Feed them separately so the cow doesn’t eat all the feed and leave the calf with none. Practice working with them both together and apart so they learn to stay content even when they aren’t beside each other. Good luck, pairs are impressive but are a LOT of work and take a HUGE amount of feed to be competitive.
