CSCX Bandwagon...Is he safe for a second calf heifer?

I am looking to breed my second calf, Pumpdaddy heifer to Bandwagon. She had an unassisted first delivery when she was bred to a low birthweight Angus Bull. His birthweight is 82, just wanting to make sure that's reasonable.

I would generally say yes. I have used Bandwagon's sire Optimus Prime on heifers with no issues. Bandwagon has a good CED EPD and as long as the cow doesn't have some funky big stuff in her pedigree, I would say you should be fine.

I wouldn`t be afraid of him on a 2nd calf. The ones I`ve had were really nice calves with good dispositions. The heifer I kept was good mother and had a heifer by CCR Boulder that I also am keeping.
