Defects and genetic testing

We sent in a triple tests on 8 bull calves. 7 came up triple clean and 1 was a TH carrier. This was a test for th, pha, and DS. I don't know how many times I bid on Jakes Proud Jazz sons and Gizmo sons and didn't get them bought. Guess it pays to be cheap. Any other testing news out there.

Yeah. You can use the tests to screen offspring.

no kidding.  why he even has a carrier at this point is laughable.


for some reason he bad mouths carrier bulls but has carriers.


something doesn't add up as usual.


if he has a female that is still a carrier and throws carrier calves, he should do like he says with the bulls, don't use them.


as usual, he talks out of both sides of his mouth.
