Nice cow Red!

So genetically...   how different are the grays that you get from the red diluters vs the grays from a Char x Black cross?

Red your calf is a really light red brindle. She may darken up some but will probably stay reddish. Keep us posted.
The first time I saw INFRARED in person at Denver I said that he was not red at all but a light red brindle. He is a black bull. He has a black switch, black nose, black feet and when shaved close on his head he is darker. Now if he was red you would never get a black calf when mated to a red cow and there have been reports of that so he is indeed a black bull that is a red carrier.

She's over 10 so doubt if she'll change much! She's the work horse of my herd. She & Rose will be stuffed when they die!  ;)

I meant the brownish reddish calf from this year. You are stuck with how the foreplay cow looks.
