I have a Golden Child heifer that I need to breed in June.  It will be her second calf.  I am thinking Dirty Hairy 2 or Ali 2?  Any thoughts on which one would be better as far as birthweight?

I would use the original Dirty Hairy. I used on 2nd calvers and I like them.

Her first calf was out of an Angus bull and weighed maybe 60-65 lbs.

If you are dead set on one of those two, I'd go with DH2. I know he's new, but I think when the time comes he'll be throwing some good ones.I dont know if I'd go wiith Rocky B, because you'd be doubling up on WMW, and that could cause some structure issues. Ali would be better on the BW because he is proven and DH2 isnt. But if you're open to suggestions and not real worried about birth weights you might consider Shiver. He'd be an outcross to your cow and probaly wont throw a huge calf, a lot of people use him on first calf heifers.

I am not set on either bull and am open to other ideas.  I will try to get a picture of the heifer tomorrow and see if that will help this discussion.  Also wandering about using something like Major's Money Man, TLM Bouncer, or Total Solution?  I haven't seen too many calves out of these bulls so let me know your thoughts??

We had a Majors Money Man this year out of our Dr. Who with great results! Good bone, sound, and very thick. Not as deep bodied as I'd like, but I'm hoping some feed and time will take care of that. Also has an excellent front. He should make an awesome show steer this fall. We're even considering leaving him a bull and selling him at an Expo, like Ohio or Michigan, because he should be a calving ease bull. He was 70lbs unassisted.
