Hi, I am mainly showing in just county fairs but my steer seems to have a high flank and no butt. His front end is really nice which makes his butt look terrible.  Is there any additives or anything like that that I can feed him? He is 3/4 maine anjou and 1/4 angus. He is getting about 16 lbs of grain a day with 5 lbs of dry beet pulp a day. Please help

If I could come up with a feed additive formula for "Butt in a Bag" I could sell 22.5# buckets of the stuff for $300 a pop and never fill all the orders.

If he isn't fat yet, then increase his corn and maybe get him on some free choice grass hay to help fill his flank.  His butt is genetic, so there isn't much to do other than get him fat.
