First A.I. calf of the year

Thought we would share our first calf of the year with members of the Planet. She is out of Lautner's Untouchable (new sire for 2008, Heat Wave x Totally Tuned), and a Dream On (Simm) daughter born unassisted this morning and weighing in at 96 pounds. She is full of viv and vim and since this is the year of V, we are calling her Vivian or most likely Viv.
This is Hubby's first A.I. calf and the first one for me in 20+ years, so I guess she is a little special to us.

Nice calf.  All of these calf pics are getting me anxious, and I have another 10 days in theroy.

This is the year for W, V was skipped

I have both a Gigolo Joe & a Gizmo due in 2 weeks. The rest are all due March 14th. Natural heats.

Thanks for the comments everyone, we like her. Now we are waiting on the next one due this coming week, an Ali daughter to Meyer/Meyer. Really hoping for a bull calf with this one for a possible show steer for the kids. Most of the other cows are due the first of March. Love this time of year!

Great Job!  It is so nice to see people get back in touch with doing this yourself!  Looks good.  Post another picture in about opne month I am anxious to see how they do.
