Would Starburst be considered heifer safe for a first calf?
First off let me say I like Starburst and plan on using him.  I have seen a few of his calves and they are all very stout and have a lot of bone.  I would not use a bull that puts that much bone and stoutness on a heifer.  I would be concerned about what shape the calves would be at birth.  But I am very conservative on what I breed my heifers too.

I have a hardline heifer out of a meyer 734 x habanero.  I am really happy w/ her.  Very good disposition and a good feeder.  I will be breeding her to I-80.

I think Sullivan had some shorthorn plus heifers out of Hardline in his sale last fall

If I'm not mistaken he had a solid white heifer by him in his sale 2 weeks ago and she looked really nice.
