Future shorthorn herdsire
« on: November 23, 2016, 04:11:03 PM »
This is a February 28th saskvalley bonanza son out of a muridale buster 14k cow that we purchased from Shane Moe out of Oregon. His 205 day weight was 776 without creep and he weighs about 850-900 now. We are pretty excited to see how he will develope.

I don't have a clue I would say he will be a high 5 low 6 just from looking at his mother and I believe bonanza was in that high 5 range.

here is an updated picture of him the day we turned him out with some cows. Weighed 1345 at 13 months. We are happy with how he has developed but 5 or 6 years from now we'll have a better idea.

He's not registered we are just using him on commercial cows and Shane Moe doesn't register his cows anymore.

If he is out with the cows you should consider getting him in the chute and trimming the excessive long hair on his prepuce. JMO
Nice bull!

I agree on the hair I am embarrassed I never thought of it. He doesn't have a big sheath just lots of hair for some reason.
