We have seen several posts about using GrandMaster on clubby cows now I want to turn it around and let you guys tell me what I should use on a GrandMaster Daughter that we will be flushing. She is our 3/4 Blood Simmental , 1/4 Shorthorn female that we had out last year. She was the Grand Champion% female at the Dixie National, 2nd to overall champion in class at the North American, and 3rd in class to the champion and res overall at Denver( tough age class this year)
Since our main buisness is Purebred and % simmental breeding cattle we need some advice about the club calf side. It's been a long time since I showed and sold steers, not to age myself but Sugar Ray , Black Power Play, Platnium and the new guy people were talking about was a bull named Who Made Who.
She is TH free and we would like to keep the genetic defects out and I know this s a reach but we need calving ease in these future embryos due to the fact that we use our registered cows for recips and then turn in our stud bulls as clean up for our normal purebred needs.
I have attached her pic taken right after the Dixie National and another one just taken from the truck after she calved. she has a purebred bull calf at her side sired by an old bull we had in the Genex line up several years ago called Choice Plus. He was a Nichols Kelly 75U son and sired by a bull named Hercs Black Edge (out cross pedigree, homo blk, homo polled and calving ease) her calf is a black roan faced bull (for those of you who seen her yes the Question has been answered on the purebred calf color, were naming him Evolution) as you can see after we peeled her she was'nt just all hair
Again thanks for any info you can give us
