I have a neighbor boy down the road wanted to show a heifer at the county fair this year. He went to the pasture and picked her out. Him and his dad have been working with her for 2 months and have not had very good luck. They will be working with her and all of a sudden she will go bezerk on them. They say something will trigger her and she will start going nuts. They have put in a lot of hardwork with her and they don't want it to all go to waste so if you have any suggestions please let me know! Thanks!

What triggers her?  Is it new people?  Or sudden unfamiliar sounds?  A dog?  If it's consistently one type of thing that triggers her, you can work with that.  I had a heifer earlier this past fall that was an angel the first couple months of being halter broke.  Then she went through a phase where stuff was triggering her right and left.  I'm guessing the biggest thing is sudden unfamiliar sounds?  Play a radio.  Make noises while she eats.  Don't be afraid to surround her with whatever is making her go nuts while she's in a pen, with no halter.  I know that's probably not any new info, but I've found its simply the best thing.  Expose, expose, expose her to "scary" stuff while she's not on a halter.
