What do you see as similarities in the two bulls pictured?
I am the first to say my entire approach to looking at cattle amounts to nothing more than pattern recognition. And it's fanciful, shot through with flaws and essentially emotional.
As with ink blots, the psyche of the observer influences their perceptions.
All that said, I see a pattern of head shape, specifically relationship distance between the eyes and the the shape of the muzzle. The proportions between the length of the body and the length of the legs seem related as well as the way the head sits upon the neck.
More than any of that however, is the look in the eye, and I will accept that as being my a manifestation of my romantic imagination.
This is not a verbal thing.
Here is another bull I see the same thing in. I forget his name and breeding, but I think he looks genetically similar.
And another bull that shows the same spirit in his head and body, but in a wilder, more masculine, way.
And, to cement myself in to position as a crazy person....a picture of 32Z that, to me and probably only me, LOOKS, more like a Galloway than a Shorthorn. ...Leading me to suggest that features I recognize in 135 are rising from the deep well on the bottom side of his pedigree.
And a Galloway to justify my unjustified opinion about 32Z
